McFarland's Llama Farm

McFarland’s Llama Farm has been carrying Heartfelt products almost since we started making them. McFarland’s is a four-generation, 70-acre farm situated in the serenity of central Ohio. With 90 llamas, everyone shares in the responsibilities of the farm. Sue and Don McFarland purchased their first three llamas just to have something different in their barn. Sue is primarily responsible for the daily feeding and care. Don is primarily responsible for buying llamas! He is also in charge of public relations. Don works hard to be sure that everyone stays on task and that the llamas are well maintained. Cindy and Mike Ruckman are Ada, Elizabeth, Michael and David's parents. It’s not uncommon to see any of them in the show ring, or Cindy judging at an ALSA Fleece Show. You most often see Mike on the sidelines or just around the farm. The farm sign says, “Visitors Welcome,” and the farm family want to be sure you know the invitation is sincere!
